Our Camps and Activities offer an experience of a lifetime, that will never be forgotten.

Think you might want to clean up after kangaroos or serve lunch to lemurs?  Find out more about what sanctuary stewards do while getting up close with some cool animals.

We’re happy to announce that we’ve added a few exciting things to our ever popular Kangaroo Kamp program. NEW this year, in addition to our regular Kangaroo Kamp, we will be offering a Joey Kamp. This is a junior program for those aged 6-8 years old. Enrollment is very limited and only being offered for 3 weeks…so register early to avoid disappointment.

Joey Kamp Promises to be a Wild Journey  for curious minds. Aged 6-8 From meeting furry friends and exploring jungle habitats to animal crafts and outdoor games. Every day holds excitement, discovery and learning.

We are also offering a NEW Leaders in Training Volunteer program. 

Leader in Training:  To qualify for a Leader in Training position you must have previously attended at least 2 camps here at Saunders.  You must be going into grade 9 in September or already be in high school. If you meet the above 2 requirements leader in training may be for you.  LIT”s are here to assist the counselors and the campers. Must be safety conscious and comfortable assisting others. This is a great opportunity to learn actual management and leadership skills that will benefit you your entire life. Knowing how to lead, direct, delegate, manage, inspire or work in a team are all real-life skills. Same rules apply must be on time, no electronics except for Friday.  We will only accept 1 LIT per week so apply early if interested.

Summer Day Camps

What an experience, spend a week as a Sanctuary Steward in training. Children who attend Camp at Saunders Country Critters will shape and expand their knowledge of animals and conservation. Not to mention it will be a week they won’t soon forget.
